HR Recruitment Jobs – Working for an Agency

Working for HR recruitment agencies can entail a number of varied responsibilities all with the aim of providing staff for client organisations. These jobs can range from entry-level roles, to executive and corporate positions, depending on the HR recruitment agency and what they specialise in. There are a great number of HR recruitment agencies available to suit jobseekers and employers. Both temporary and permanent positions are available through these agencies.

Recruitment in this form is a highly lucrative business. The clients pay the staff found for them and the HR recruitment agencies take around half of the earnings in fees for themselves. Many companies will prefer to use an HR recruitment agency for their staffing needs as positions can be filled immediately by the hundreds of jobseekers on their database.

HR recruitment jobs centre on building up relationships with clients and gaining new business by seeking out companies who may need recruitment assistance. The other side of business is attracting potential candidates to register as looking for work. The agencies do this by advertising, networking and headhunting. Candidates are screened by interview and background checks. If the candidate is suitable, they will be registered with the HR recruitment agency and a position will be found to match their skills and needs.

HR recruitment jobs also require the consultant to give advice to candidates and clients regarding training, salary and career assistance.
