Human Resources Advisor Job Description

If you choose to pursue a career as a human resource advisor then you will be responsible for a full range of human resource services to your company or clients. You might have to provide consultation in areas such as recruitment, selection, issues relating to new employment laws, salary and employee relations issues.
As a human resources advisor there are some things you would typically be responsible for doing such as:
• Providing advice to management on human resources policies and legislation.
• Advising managers on recruitment.
• Carrying out job evaluations.
• Coordinating the process of appointing new members of staff.
• Insuring all HR data is updated and maintained.
• Write and give presentations on HR related topics.
