Working with this HR team will be a unique and very rewarding experience. When I met with the HR Director to discuss the role, she said "Jo, this is a very real opportunity to join a great team and be fully involved with an exciting change project we have planned for 2017". The HR Director has recently joined this prestigious Professional Services firm and is looking for someone who can help her with a number of business critical HR related projects. One of these includes developing and implementing a People Strategy that supports their ambition of becoming a leading international sector focused business, building team capability and taking ownership of the talent review process. You will be required to use your passion for HR to help drive though a brand new people strategy and deliver a full HR service to over 300 senior leaders as well as mentoring and managing a small team. You will have a wide remit to continue the improvements in policy and practice that have been underway for the past year. They are changing the way they view performance, with increased focus on development, employer brand and diversity defining the way they work in HR. It's a really exciting time to get on board. They are looking for someone who has experience leading a small team to achieve huge results, especially in moving organisations out of their comfort zones and progressing to a talent focussed way of working - so persuasion and negotiation skills will need to be well developed. It will also call on you to coach and develop the HR team within their roles. Experience as an HR Business Partner/HR Manager with Change Management experience is a must, along with as many of the following characteristics as possible: High energyPassionate about the value of HR and a Change ChampionA great mentor to the HR team - improving performance and motivatingProfessional with high standardsCurrently working as an HRBP or HR ManagerProactive and able to deliver in a fast-past environment.
