About the role

The role is responsible for the operational oversight and transactional service delivery to London Borough of Barnet from the two service centres (Belfast and Carlisle).

What you will do:

Work closely with the supporting HR service to ensure that the transactional elements and advisory work alongside each other to deliver a service which meets the customer's expectations and adheres to performance measures.

Ensure the achievement of business plan aims and objectives and contracted service levels.
*

Work closely with the HR Director to identify, negotiate and deliver change control outside of the contracted service to ensure business plan targets are met and exceeded where possible.
*

Has regular meetings with the customer and keeps them up to date
*

Spot opportunities to improve operational efficiency

Your experience will include:

* Good communicator and strong presentation skills - to be able to transfer knowledge to the customer and internal teams
* Well organised
* Ability to build relationships with the customer and the local teams
* Excellent interpersonal skills, open minded and creative
* People management
* Basic HR and payroll knowledge would be an advantage
* Thorough knowledge of contracts
