Description
A professional services company specializing in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services with offices in over 140 countries is seeking a manager to manage their Global Compensation Data Management team in their London Office.
As part of the Assignment Services (Outsourcing) Department, the GCDM team provides and manages services for multinational companies who send employees (assignees), and their families, to work and live in another country.
The core function of the GCDM team is to gather, consolidate and provide information on an assignee's pay and benefits to create a central global repository of total compensation data.
Such services include, but are not limited to: -
Cost variance analysis -
Collection and consolidation of compensation data for tax and social security compliance -
Accruals management - Total cost reporting and advisory -
Management information reporting -
Supporting clients with regard to payroll compliance and risk management Accountabilities -
Responsible for managing the daily operations and monitoring the quality and timeliness of team deliverables -
Introduce process improvements and develop best practice -
Develop and improve quality metrics, and team utilization -
Point of issue escalation and resolution for any service issues experienced by the client -
Manage team to meet contractual SLAs & KPIs -
Conduct regular service reviews with client - Works closely with the GTH to manage the work performed by them -
Approve financial budgets for engagements -
Manage transition of new work - Plan annual service delivery -
Interview and guide training new hires - Sign off client deliverables -
Raise awareness of GCDM offering within HC, wider firm and in the market place -
Counsellor for L1 and L2 - Coach and develop junior team members -
Training of GTH and junior team members on process and client specifics -
Anticipate and identify risks and escalate as appropriate. -
Actively contribute to improving operational efficiency on projects. -
Developing standard processes for roll out.

Experience and Qualifications Essential; - Experience of the Global Mobility environment - Strong subject matter knowledge of assignment services and assignee compensation; -
Able to train and communicate concepts to team and provide assignment service logic. -
Management and leadership experience, ability to motivate. -
Client service and solutions focused -
Project management skills to manage timelines and deliverables; -
Thrives working within tight deadlines in a pressurised environment that works under contractual SLA's and KPIs with financial penalties
Desirable; - Extensive payroll/Accounts payable experience - Experience of running a global mobility engagement for a client, either in tax compliance, assignment services or global employment taxes environment - Experience of compensation accumulation engagement
