Contract Type: 6 Month Secondment/Fixed Term Contract - part-time (18.75hrs)

Working Hours: Monday & Tuesday followed by Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 0900-1730 hrs

Location: The Office,Crawley

 

Role Purpose

To provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective payment administrative service to the Logistics team, Cabin Crew and Pilots. Providing day to day advice on payment queries in accordance with the Pilot scheduling agreement, Cabin Crew scheduling agreement and company policy.

 
Responsibilities

Provide administrative payments support to the Logistics team Co-ordinate the accurate administration of pilot overtime payments to payroll in a timely manner, providing relevant information to required departments and dealing with all salary anomalies e.g. underpayments, recovery of overpayments etc Administer and calculate supplementary and other flying crew payments Research and collate overtime or other relevant payments statistical information for the logistics team or line management Answer and deal with a wide range of enquiries relating to relevant payments from pilots and crew. This will require the ability to communicate effectively with a high degree of diplomacy at all levels of management and, in particular, with aircrew

 
Requirements

Previous experience of administrating crew payments and supplementary payments advantageous Confident and proficient in CMS, microsoft word, excel, outlook and data entry an advantage An understanding of pilot contracts, pilot hours and overtime payments (MEWP, AEWP) An understanding of the Pilot scheduling agreement would be advantageous Excellent team worker with the ability to build relationships at all levels throughout the company Ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines Strong communication skills - ability to relay payments information to employees in a clear and concise manner Excellent customer service skills Ability to prioritise and balance number of tasks at any one time Strong attention to detail and confidentiality Problem solving skills Highly numerate with a logical, methodical and systematic approach Ability to work unsupervised and to prioritise own workload Strong team player An appreciation for pilot and cabin crew cultures The ability to be proactive, self-motivated and work on own initiative
