Summary Reporting to the Head of Pensions and Payroll Operations , you will be responsible for leading the member services and administration team to support the Defined Benefit Tesco PLC Pension Scheme Trustees ensuring the correct and timely administration of member benefits and interactions by working as one team with Tesco Bengaluru. Providing secretarial support to the Discretions Committee of the Trustee BoardSupporting and providing documentation for both the internal and external audit functionsThe correct operational upkeep of the Altair pensions administration systemKeeping up to date with current statutory regulations and monitoring changes in the legal situation for pensions providers and developments in defined benefit pension schemes Developing and leading a high performing team Ideal Candidate Experience relevant for this job:* External pensions industry qualification (APMI / FPMI)* Up to date knowledge of current and emerging UK pensions legislation * Up to date understanding of the IDR Process and Pensions Ombudsman, TPAS decisions and Pension case law* Experience of managing and developing a team Operational skills relevant for this job:* Team working, taking people with you* Prioritisation and time management* Communication skills - written and verbal* Knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint* Numeracy, analytical skills, and the ability to understand complex information* Project Management skills
