The Background:

One of the worlds leading international relocation firms are actively seeking an addition to their Business Development Team. Reporting directly to the General Manager the successful candidates area of operations will be solely focussed on developing new business relationships across Germany.


The Role:

To generate or reactivate business opportunities through proactive sales activities from a combination of the existing database, cold calling, and tenders.

Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customers/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, especially managing personal time and productivity.

Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.

Develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison to optimise quality and service, business growth and customer satisfaction.

Use customer contact and prospect tools and systems, and update relevant data held in those systems.

Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.

Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.

Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.

Attend and present at external customer meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.

Attend training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.


The Person:

The successful candidate must have a proven track record of success in business development & sales within a corporate relocation firm. Applicants must have the ability to identify and convert new sales prospects to increase bottom line value. Candidates must speak fluent German and hold a current driving licence.
