Employee Engagement & Communications Specialist,Exeter,Devon, South West

My client, a reputable household name based in centralExeteris currently recruiting for an Employee Engagement & Communications Specialist on a 6 month contract.

To work with the Employee Engagement Manager to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and internal communications to support the business in the achievement of its vision of being the biggest and best supplier of energy to British business.

Main accountabilities will include:

  • To develop and provide effective, relevant and timely internal communications to meet the needs of the business
  • Take a pro-active approach as a point of reference for business colleagues in matters of employee engagement theory and communication best practice, acting as a quality control for communications
  • Writing of engaging communications for use in a variety of channels
  • Ongoing stakeholder management, including an internal network with colleagues of a similar role
  • Analysis, reviews and tracking of employee engagement.
  • Delivery of the annual Employee Engagement Survey cycle, driving participation in the survey across employees and through relevant communications
  • To contribute to, and implement, recommendations for performance and communications improvement activity from analysis of Employee Engagement Survey and Quarterly Survey results
  • To participate in, and contribute to, the process of creating initiatives to support the Employee Engagement Strategy
  • To work collaboratively with the Corporate Employee Engagement Team, HR Generalists and other Employee Engagement /Communication contacts, to identify, recommend and implement actions to improve employee engagement and inform employees

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an Employee Engagement and/ or Internal communications environment; be creative and innovative encompassing the ability to design solutions and facilitate workshops in an engaging way. Candidates will also have a passion for employee engagement and motivation, a high energy and ethical view with personal drive and resilience to overcame any obstacles and achieve results.
