Description

An Employee Relations Manager is required for this international employer, based in the UK (location flexible). Reporting into the HR Director you will have responsibility for the strategic Employee Relations and Industrial Relations policy and implementation throughout the organisation. Other key deliverables will include:

Providing Leadership Development support towards the ER People Plan.
Provide the one stop decision making advice on all strategic ER Policy and Employment Law issues for the business.
Be the organisation liaison with Trade Unions and subsequent negotiation.
Liaise with the company legal team around particularly complex ER issues.
Ensure you are constantly up to date with new employment law legislation and review existing strategic ER policy to ensure adherence.
Develop IR policy.
Provide ER support in regards to all matters surrounding TUPE.

The successful candidate will have an abundance of Employee Relations and Trade Union negotiation experience behind them but demonstrate the strategic capability to ensure you are not a pure operational ER practitioner. Previous experience operating in a complex, large, matrix based organisation would be desirable, as would working across multiple client contracts simultaneously. Significant exposure to TUPE is a must. Excellent communication skills and clear credibility is required to ensure you can build, influence and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within this complex and diverse business.
