Our clients are a large National Training provider who are rapidly expanding, and as such are looking to recruit an Employer Engagement Consultant to join their team, promoting their Employability service to local employers within the Preston area. Job Purpose: You will build and maintain relationships with key employers, stakeholders and delivery partners. Through them, you will source eligible learners for their Adult Skills training courses. Main Accountabilities: Promoting the companies adult skills courses and other contracts to key referral partner agencies, to ensure occupancy targets on training programmesActively seek new business opportunities with stakeholders.Working with employers to promote maths and English support services for employed learners, to up-skill their workforce with functional skillsWorking with employers to source potential managed job vacancies, and structure bespoke pre-employment training courses for the resultant recruitmentIdentifying and implementing partnership opportunities within the companyAchieving referral and employer engagement targets across a range of industries and contractsEstablish, build and maintain partnerships with a wide portfolio of existing and potential partners to fulfil the business needs through regular contact and management.Develop a network of relationships with employed learners through business development and marketing engagementMaintain accurate records of specified business development activity and provide timely and consistent data using the companies systemsIdentify key networking opportunities to maximise your impact on your centre(s) and supply chain referrals increasing income opportunitiesDeliver pitches and presentations to referral partners and stakeholders to secure new businessMaintain an excellent level of product knowledge and understanding of all funding opportunitiesAdvertise and promote the company to referral partners, employers and potential learners using a wide range of techniques in order to achieve learner acquisition targetsAttend networking events and other promotional opportunities, maintaining a professional and credible profile on behalf of the company - these may be outside of normal working hours, so some flexibility is required. Experience/ Skills: To be successful, your application must be able to demonstrate: Proven success in a target-driven sales environment, ideally related to employability, education, or adult skillsProven success in generating high levels of repeat business and success in developing and managing long term business partnershipsStrong and confident presentation, communication, and networking skillsPragmatic and analytical problem-solving skillsProven ability to work collaboratively and effectively networkStrong IT skills, specifically in Microsoft Office applicationsA current valid driving licence and own car. Salary is 22-24k + benefits + OTE
