The programme is aimed at increasing the employability of participants to support their progression into sustainable employment. As an Employment & Skills Trainer you will deliver Reed in Partnership's training programmes to learners who require additional support in one or more focus areas. You will carry out initial assessments with your learners, explaining the course, timetabling and agreeing expectations with them as well as developing, documenting and reviewing a learning plan. We will need you to use your training skills and activities to engage and empower learners and to progress them towards employment.Essential qualifications / Experienced required:. Qualified teacher status with a recognised teacher/training qualification including: Award in Education & Training Level 3/4 (formerly PTLLS/CTLLS), PGCE (as defined by Ofqual), Certificate in FE. . GCSEs Grade A-C English & Maths / Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.. Demonstrable experience of working on the delivery of accredited learning and associated assessments.. Experience of being accountable for own work e.g. following lesson plans / filling course with learners.. Occupational competency in at least one of: customer service, retail, business administration or hospitality and catering.. Experience of working in a fast paced, performance target driven environment.
