A leading Professional Services Company is seeking an Expatriate Tax Director for their London based Expatriate Tax business that offers international mobility services to clients focusing on specific markets: Financial Services, FTSE 100, FTSE 350 and Far Eastern inbounds. 

 Purpose of the role:

  • Has operational responsibility for specialist projects or client accounts or teams in specialist markets or geographies.
  • Leverages expertise to strategically build profitable revenue growth in specialist area or across wider market.
  • Demonstrates commercial acumen and an understanding of opportunities in the market to achieve growth in specialist area or across targeted accounts.
  • Demonstrates strong negotiation skills when securing new work and conducting business transactions.
  • Creates value for the client by demonstrating thought leadership, bringing new insights and delivering service excellence.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Promotes high quality in the execution of client work by employing best practice methodologies and processes.
  • Understands the key drivers affecting our business performance; complies and helps improve the firm's operating practices.
  • Leverages organisational knowledge to improve service delivery and operational excellence.

Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Experienced manager of both small and large high-performing teams.
  • Experienced and enthusiastic coach.
  • Supports the Company Values and approach to a diverse and inclusive working environment.
  • May lead teams in specialist markets.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Any of the following preferred: ATT / ACA / CA / CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA)
  • Graduate / Graduate calibre or equivalent work experience
  • Motivated to take a leadership role in their business in the future
  • Technical excellence and experience in specific subject matter
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Commercial mindset and strong reputation in subject matter area
  • Substantial specialist experience with professional services firm or leading employer
  • Highly trained with relevant tertiary and industry qualifications
  • Understanding of commercial risk
  • Commitment to quality and risk processes
