The Company: A specialist provider with a long history of delivering top of the line training to learners all across the United Kingdom. Using a mixture of online & paper-ased resources, they're a market leader within the industry & offer a multitude of courses to learners at varied levels. A company who heavily invest in their staff & have a renowned on-boarding process for new starters which ensures their delivery staff can work to their maximum potential. The Role: We're looking for a passionate Assessor to deliver apprenticeship frameworks centred in & around the Chorley region. The position will involve visiting learners within their workplace & assessing Generic Skills (Business Admin, Team Leading, Management, Customer Services) level 2 & 3 qualifications using e-portfolio software. The role will involve supporting learners throughout their qualification via a variety of assessment methods. Please note: this role will NOT require Functional Skills delivery as the company has standalone Functional Skills Tutors who deliver these. The Candidate: A strong occupational background in a relevant sector is required for this position, as well as being a qualified Assessor/Trainer. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational qualities, strong communication skills, and great attention to detail with the ability to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision. E-portfolio experience would also be a distinct advantage & a car driver is a must. Qualifications Required: Assessor award (A1, TAQA, D32 etc.)Training qualification is desirable (PTLLS, CertEd,7407 etc.)Full UK Driving License Salary & Benefits: 21-22k basic depending on qualifications & experienceBonus scheme in place (average extra earnings 2k p/a)45p mileage allowanceGenuine CPD opportunities
