Description
A leading professional services company specializing in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services with offices in over 140 countries is seeking a consultant to work as a part of their Global Compensation Data Management team in London.
As part of the Assignment Services (Outsourcing) Department, the GCDM team provides and manages services for multinational companies who send employees (assignees), and their families, to work and live in another country.
The core function of the GCDM team is to gather, consolidate and provide information on an assignee's pay and benefits to create a central global repository of total compensation data.
Such services include, but are not limited to: - Cost variance analysis -
Collection and consolidation of compensation data for tax and social security compliance -
Accruals management - Total cost reporting and advisory -
Management information reporting -
Supporting clients with regard to payroll compliance and risk management Accountabilities -
Review and supervise the administration of GCDM offerings/services. -
Review and audit multiple data sources for quality assurance -
Conduct initial review of client deliverables -
Provide operational guidance and training to team members -
Liaise with client contacts including payroll and accounts teams -
Responsible for meeting contractual SLA's and KPIs -
Review and escalate country or client-specific issues and queries -
Provide monthly budget updates to manager -
Involvement in ad hoc projects (i.e. undertaking year end reporting and reconciliations) - Involvement in transition projects (i.e. training GTH and off-shoring processes) -
Suggest and implement improvements to team efficiency

Experience & Qualifications Essential: -
Technically versatile and able to work with data from multiple sources and in various formats. -
Competent with using spreadsheets for data manipulation and review -
Ability to work within tight deadlines in a pressurised environment that works under contractual SLA's and KPIs with financial penalties -
Confident in client environment and working with other third parties; - Work competently with teams in other geographic locations
Desirable: - Preparation of compensation balance sheets and payroll instructions - International HR administration knowledge - International Tax compliance experience - Understanding of company systems used delivering compensation accumulation - Payroll / accounts payable knowledge - Languages
