Description
Leading Relocation Services provider is seeking an Account Manager in London to manage a team to provide outsourced relocation management services. To ensure that the Company adheres to the terms and conditions of the client contract(s). To deliver a superior customer service while meeting all client contracted SLA performance standards.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensures that quality service policy is adhered to in all dealings with clients and assignees and that service quality levels are achieved
- Builds productive and effective relationships with clients, assignees and suppliers.
- Manages all aspects of the day to day activities of the team including coaching and training
- Monitors staff performance continuously and at a minimum formally appraises staff annually
- As required manage caseload of high level client employees (VIPs)
- Continually assesses opportunities to expand client relationship, improve team performance and internal processes with Director
- Monitors and manages the effective service delivery of third party vendors
- Maintains data integrity, and ensures the timely production of effective and valid data for client and internal use
- Prepares for and contributes to regular client review meeting
- Participates as appropriate in special projects (improving Company's ability to compete in the marketplace; developing new service offerings, improving efficiency, etc)
- Works with the Implementation team during implementation of new accounts ensuring that communication bridges, policies and procedures and processes are in place
- Undertakes other tasks and special projects as required
Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred
Experience:
- At least 5 years' experience as a relocation Consultant or in a customer similar service role (relocation industry experience preferred), or 2 years experience as a Team Leader/Account Manager.
- Skills:
- Must have the ability to manage multiple client relationships
- Ability to delegate work to staff and ensure its' quality and timely completion
- Fluency in speaking and writing English required
- Additional language capabilities advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong managerial skills and excellent customer service
- Ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels within the organization
- Effective decision making, conflict management and problem resolution
- Ability to handle stress and maintain a professional demeanour
CONDITIONS OF WORK:
- Some travel to client locations in UK and Europe
- Annual global team meeting
- Standard office environment
- Some home office/off hours requirements
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Management of service teams located in London, and Europe
- Global Mobility Specialist accreditation preferred
- Demonstrated experience in the areas of immigration, balance sheets, assignment package review, assignee transfer process, international payroll issues ( including reconciliations) year - end process, reporting requirements, cost projections and policy development and the application of this knowledge to moderately complex client situations
- Sensitivity to the needs of culturally diverse relocating employees and their families as well as the stress brought on by the relocation process
- Ability to manage a multicultural and virtual team
- Provides recruitment and staff selection support provided to HR
- Liaison with other internal depts.( Finance, IT, etc.) to support client requirements
- Ability to manage Client Contract requirements and corresponding Service level Agreements
- Multilingual capabilities preferred
