A unique opportunity has arisen for a Global Mobility/Tax Manager to join one of our international clients based in Hertfordshire. The purpose of this role is to support the companys continuing expansion outside of the UK ensuring their international assignments approach is fit for purpose and to reduce tax/social security/immigration risks. Specific Areas of Role Accountability: Provide international assignments tax/immigration advice and support to the Group: Benchmarking market practice Monitoring compliance, tax equalisation and compliance Supporting Group policy development for international pensions, healthcare and payroll set up Provide employment tax support to the Group: Primary focus on UK compliance/employment tax opportunities reporting, share schemes, RTI, market trends and tax effective compensation ideas Supporting Europe and the US Work with Group Head of Tax to establish strong relationships with UK tax authorities to reinforce their confidence in the companys reporting arrangements Skills and Experience Global mobility tax specialist with experience of UK/European employment tax Previous experience in international assignments within a corporate group Experience of contributing to international assignments policy from a technical perspective, including tax, social security and immigration implications Experience of US tax, social security and immigration requirements In depth knowledge of international assignment policy design Good working knowledge of current issues in employment tax in the UK and ability to partner with advisers across border Ability to read legal and technical documentation, interpret it and propose a course of action resulting from it. This position is offered for three to six months with the possibility of becoming permanent and is to start asap. It would suit a Global Mobility specialist looking to further their experience within a dynamic and well known environment.
