Head of HR - Northamptonshire - c55,000

Our client, a growing award winning industry leader, is now looking for an experienced and ideally CIPD qualified Head of HR to lead their People function and drive forward HR strategy.

As part of the Senior Leadership team reporting to the Chief Executive, you will oversee all people activity in this growing multisite business through your own direct activities and a small team of direct reports. This is new position within the organisation and as such will be high profile. The Head of HR will need to redefine hr strategy, drive forward change and add value with proactive project work.

Supporting around 500 staff through a team of 3, you will look at key initiatives and projects to include reward and recognition, employee engagement, HR systems capability, staff satisfaction and improving areas such as retention.

Working closing with the senior leadership team, the Head of HR will closely align the HR strategy to the overall business strategy and will help to produce HR data for the board. Other areas of focus will include talent management, succession planning and performance.

Ideally you will have come from a busy, fast paced commercial environment. Any experience of working in a regulated environment would be a benefit. You will need to be able to partner the business on proactive HR strategy but also act as a leader and manager, inspiring you team and the organisation forward.

Experience of change is important as is a strong generalist background. Ideally you'll be fully CIPD qualified and have come from a similar environment such as customer service, sales or financial services.
