Head of HR / Senior HRBP - A senior HR role based in Banbury. With a 100M turnover and 900+ employees, we need a commercially astute, strategic, people focused HR professional to create and implement a strategy which can deliver against our business needs. Rather than just dictate what is most likely to be on your CV, we felt giving you an insight into what the business needs are would be more appropriate.* The GM needs a HR professional that can truly engage with the SMT team as easily as the shop floor, not being afraid of being visible, but ultimately imposing your knowledge and expertise in your subject matter.* Having doubled in growth over the last 5 years (from 50M to 100M) and being situated in this location for 30+ years we have a diverse range of employees from long servers to relocated Europeans. Winning hearts and some cynical minds will be key.* You need to be able to offer a balanced view between HR KPI's, metrics and measures to ensure you can commercially delivery information to the SMT, whilst being able to push back on those metrics to put in place development plans for all staff - where is our talent?* Impress on the SMT what information the HR team NEED to be able to supply the support they want - staffing, training, development, succession planning etc.REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application you must be commutable to the Banbury office, alternatively be in the process of or willing to relocate to a suitable area.Essentially you will:* Be fully CIPD qualified.* Have a proven track record of HR Management (minimum team of 5) within a fast paced manufacturing environment.* Have worked most likely in Automotive, Aerospace, Food, Medical or Pharmaceutical sectors.* Have experience of working on a unionised site with 750+ staff.* Have imposed HR requirements and standards on other departments to ensure delivery but critically managing expectations.* Have the ability to assess, create or improve HR KPI's and the process of collating and converting the data into commercially driven actions.* Have previously taken ownership for creating and implementing HR strategies which are people focused (particularly training and succession planning).* Be experienced in recruitment from shop floor to management level.* Be totally committed to the pursuit of best HR practice.COMPANY:As a global business we are instrumental in assisting the major car manufacturers bringing new vehicles to market.
