The leading care company in Essex with significant growth ambition is looking for a commercially minded Head of Human Resources to help drive the business strategy. Employing 750 staff and growing, with a turnover over 30m we change people's lives in Essex and beyond providing high quality care solutions both in our Day Opportunities centres and people's homes. This is one of the best HR jobs in Essex and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a successful track record in developing and implementing business led people strategies and building organisational capability.
You will lead a small team of HR professionals and will need excellent communication skills in order to influence senior managers and be the professional adviser and coach to the Chief Executive and the Board. As Head of Human Resources your key accountabilities will include:
. Provide visible leadership to the HR function and develop the HR team to provide a high quality service throughout the organisation
. Develop new and innovative ways to recruit staff
. Lead the implementation of Performance Management Review, moderation and the award of Performance Related Pay
. Agree and manage HR budget
. Lead on the selection of key suppliers for HR services and ensure KPIs are met and reported on
