Description
Our client, an expanding market leader, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team. A proven generalist you will be responsible for supporting a locally based client group; helping to develop management capability.
Duties will include:-
- Providing generalist support to legislation and company policy managers and employees ensuring compliance with legislation and company policy
- Ensuring managers are trained and supported in driving consistent HR practices across the business
- Assisting with the development and delivery of a range of HR projects
- Supporting resourcing plans and strategies in order to meet business needs
- Facilitating business change programmes e.g. reorganisations, restructures, TUPE transfers etc.
- Managing employee relations issues, supporting managers as needed
- Advising managers on disciplinary, grievance and related employee issues
- Ensuring all procedures are in line with current legislation and best practice
- Developing absence management and turnover reporting; coaching managers on case management
- Assisting with the development of training and development in initiatives, ensuring they support business needs
- Contributing to the creation and development of succession and retentions plans
- Assisting with the implementation of reward strategy
Person Specification
- CIPD qualified
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role
- Professional services experience would be beneficial
- Ability to demonstrate up to date knowledge of employment legislation and best practice
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Experience of developing creative and effective initiatives
- Strong IT skills
- Ability of working well as part of a team with a flexible and proactive manner
