CIPD qualified HR Advisor is required to join a large automotive remarketing company at their site in Sutton Coldfield. The successful HR Advisor will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resources; contributing to the achievement of strategy and business plan objectives and provide support and advice by utilising HR tools, policies, procedures and best practice. The environment is fast-paced and varied so your workload will change on a daily basis. In order to be successful you will need to demonstrate the ability to manage your time, workload and internal stakeholders. JOB ROLE: Ensure managers are adhering to company policies and procedures Support Continuous Improvement and updates of HR policies, procedures and guidance in line with current legislation and best practice Manage absence and turnover and create effective interventions where necessary Be the HR lead for providing specific and timely advice / recommendations Assist the implementation of all HR initiatives and support all change initiatives within the business Support all aspects of the recruitment and selection process working with Managers to target, attract and retain the best candidates Support the induction and on-boarding process Drive and support employee engagement Develop the people management capabilities of the business, by providing sound advice and coaching and identifying training and development needs and solutions. Review documentation and work with Managers highlight training needs Complete all necessary HR administration in line with company policy, procedures and best practice Provide advice in line with employment law KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE You will hold demonstrable HR experience and be CIPD qualified or working towards Knowledge of HR processes, procedures and employment legislation Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Strong organisational skills Ability to time manage and priorities tasks to meet deadlines Build robust working relationships quickly Good decision making skills with the ability to negotiate with managers Resilient with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and be confident in your decision making Be able to use your initiative and be pro-active in your approach This role would suit a HR Generalist / HR Officer / HR Advisor who is looking for structured career progression in a global company.
