We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join the HR team at one of our leading cooked meat sites in the Tulip group. Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor you will provide a proactive, effective and professional HR service to the site and all its internal customers. You will ensure that the site adheres to group policies, procedure, initiatives and statutory legislation whilst developing and maintaining good employee relations. "What will I be doing?" Key responsibilities will include supporting the Senior HR Advisor in the delivery of all aspects of Group driven Human Resource Management including employee reward, relations, development, resourcing including recruitment and selection on site. You will coordinate the Works Council and support the Union and employee communications to develop and maintain good employee relations. You will be support the implementation of the Group Learning and Development Plan, working with the Training Coordinator to ensure appropriate induction and training of employees to meet site safety and supporting the site HR team with any change management initiatives. You will also be responsible for maintaining and developing the site attendance management policy, keeping staff records up to date and organising accurate and timely payrolls for both employees and temporary workers. You will contribute to projects on site and with the support of the Senior HR Advisor, manage any change management initiatives that may exist and ensure appropriate succession planning to meet the future needs of the business. "What do I need to have to be considered?" We're looking for someone who is ideally educated to degree level, fully CIPD qualified or studying towards. Previous HR experience is essential from within a manufacturing / FMCG environment with a good understanding of Employment Law. You will be PC literate, with excel, word and powerpoint skills, will be a competent user of HR systems and will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbally. Presentation skills and experience of report writing are also important with aptitude and psychometric profiling experience being advantageous.
