Outline of role Job PurposeThe primary purpose of the role is to support the Regional HR Business Partner in delivering the HR agenda to the Region. The HR Advisor will primarily do this by supporting and advising Store Managers to develop the capability of their people and through being a visible presence in all their stores, responding to local needs in addition to implementing company HR practice in a consistent way.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations. To be the ER expert within the Areas and to be a point of contact for Store Managers. To escalate serious issues/concerns to the Regional HR Business Partner.. To support Area/Store Managers with ER activities (i.e. grievance, disciplinarians) to ensure these processes operate effectively and within a positive framework of good employment relations.. To collate and manage the Red/Amber/Green process for store HR Audits, working with HR Champs to achieve 100% compliance on HR files. Support Regional Coordinator with audit and compliance of Management files in regional office.. To manage the administration of the ER process / other company policies to ensure the process operates effectively and to agreed timescales.. To operate as a `corporate conscience`, being visible to all store staff and open to their feedback, acting on this as appropriate.Recruitment . To support the Resourcing Manager in the recruitment of Store Management and Retail Management Trainee candidates.. To manage recruitment procedures and monitoring.. Support Regional HR Business Partner in reporting NI recruitment information to the Equality Commission.Capability . To support the roll out of the Personal Development Review process through delivery of the Personal Development Review workshops for new managers.. To deliver HR Best Practise workshops for new managers.Absence Management . To support the region in managing and reducing absence through company absence management procedures.. Reporting on monthly KPI absence statistics.. Follow up with stores with absence issues through supporting development of absence management plans.. Manage long-term absence processes.Other . To conduct exit interviews with all Store Manager & Pharmacy leavers and use this information to feed into company leavers reports and activities.. Support the collation of, and distribute, KPIs for the region.. To work with other HR specialists (L&D, Comp & Benefits) to ensure their activities reflect feedback from the field HR team.. Manage the administration of the SMD budget.. Input into HR projects as required and ensure that continuous feedback is provided on key HR processes/ policies /activities to ensure they are `fit for purpose`. Person specification. The ideal candidate will have some HR experience gained in a fast pace multi-site environment.. They must demonstrate a genuine passion for the company and be able to effectively and concisely communicate their approach to HR within the unique `Beauty & Health` environment of Superdrug.. They need to be confident, resilient and self motivated, with a highly organised approach to work..
