As HR Advisor, you will provide a professional, comprehensive, pro-active and client focused HR Advisory service, promoting best practice and enhancing performance. This is a key role within the HR team, responsible for all employee relations issues, and developing close working relationships with people leaders. Accountabilities.Advise, guide and support managers with all matters relating to employee relations.Developing effective relationships to promote good employee relations across the organisation.Support the implementation of results driven business and people development focused HR with needs analysis, HR planning implementation and evaluationEnsure candidates are recruited fairly and to the stated protocolsEnsure equality and diversity is followedDelivery of HR workshops as requiredEnsure performance management reviews are conducted to a high standardEnsure that staff inductions are completed and reviewed for effectiveness and standardsCollaborating with the Occupational Health advisors to support the Company's commitment to staff wellness and to implement effective return-to-work programmes that contribute proactively to reduced illness, shortened lengths of staff absences, reduced accidents and illness incurred at work and improved resourcing levels Liaising with HR team to ensure effective and timely transactional support for Occupational Health case management so that managers have the best possibility of managing sick absence levels, return to work programmes, and workforce resourcing accordingly to the workforce planEncourage development of individuals and teams through the ongoing management, and support of the performance management process of skills and behaviour assessment & development, training solutions and distance / self-study development and professional coachingYou.Strong ER experienceExperience of working in a unionised environment desirableCIPD qualified
