The Role Robert Half HR are currently recruiting for a part time HR and Payroll position based in Weston-Super-Mare. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an SME who are currently going through extensive growth and paying 16-17,000 for 24hours per week (FTE - 25-27,000) Job Purpose Responsible for the timely and accurate payment of weekly and monthly paid salaries.Deal with all aspects of day to day payroll including, SSP, SMP, SPP, CIS, pensions, holiday pay, P45s and P46s.Monthly and quarterly remittance of PAYE and NIC liabilities.Preparation of manual payroll journal entries required and subsequent P32 forms.Responsible for the timely processing of Tax Year End processes and administration including P11Ds and P60s.Manage and coordinate payment of employee expenses, including ownership of the processes involved.Resolving any client/staff queries regarding payroll and liaising with HMRC and other government departments on all payroll associated issues.Assist with the rollout of a fundamental update to the employee bonus scheme.Manage and coordinate starters and leavers, ensure the payroll system is up to date and employee records are filed accordingly.General administration of the company's Auto Enrolment Group Personal Pension Plan, ensuring the necessary information is provided and up to date.Development of payroll policies and procedures, including but not limited to: Convert pay slips distribution from a paper processing format to an electronic format. Development of HR policies and procedures, including but not limited to: Rolling out and ownership of employee benefit schemes including childcare vouchers.Ensuring employee contracts are standardised and in place with all employee's going forward.Ownership of any employee disputes, grievances, disciplinary procedures etc.Ownership of employee devices and corresponding network contracts. Salary & Benefits Part time, 3 days per week (24 hours) with a little flexibility. Salary full time equivalent of 25-27,000. 24hours - 16-17,000 per annum.
