NRG are currently representing a reputable and recognised establishment in Northumberland who are looking to recruit a temporary part time HR and Recruitment Assistant to start ASAP. You must be immediately available and the position will last until mid January. The role is part time for 18.5 hours a week you must be available to work for a full day on Mondays. Duties will inclusive of but not exhaustive to: Ensure an effective recruitment service which is carried out in accordance with agreed processes, schedules, legislative requirementsAdvise Managers on specific matters in relation to employment legislation and the statutory requirements in relation to recruitment and selectionDeal with all aspects of the recruitment process, including administering our vacancies on the e-recruitment system, and dealing with any relevant websitesDeal with queries in relation to the e-recruitment system, including setting up new users, resetting passwords for users etc.Dealing with candidates in relation to their applications, arranging interviews and advising managers on the selection process, as well as dealing with new appointments.To ensure that all pre-employment checks and clearances are obtained such as references, DBS clearance, right to work, gaps in employment, etc.Responsible for ensuring that contracts of employment and offer letters for successful applicants are accurate and administered in a timely manner.Work with HR colleagues to ensure documentation received complies with the College terms and conditions, employment law, liaising with managers and staff in relation to changes to employment details. To be considered for the role you must: Excellent communication skills.Excellent interpersonal & networking skills and telephone manner.Ability to work as a member of a team.Proven ability of being self-motivated and working without supervision.Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills to meet daily deadlines.Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy often working to tight deadlinesExperience in Information Technology, particularly Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Office, Databases, Publisher, Internet and emailExperience of working within a HR Team.NVQ Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject eg. administration.Word Processing Skills to RSA 3 or equivalent.Ability to take detailed and accurate minutes.GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English (Grade A- C)Able to obtain satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring clearance The rate of pay is 8 an hour and you must be immediately available to reply.
