Our client a highly regarding law firm have created a new opportunity to provide relevant HR Advisor and Managers with administrative support for HR processes and procedures relating to secretarial and fee earner staff and to help ensure that the HR department provides a quality service in all respects. Responsibilities include: To assist with the day-to-day administration processes for both fee earners and secretaries.To update the firm's IT systems.Maintain salary spreadsheets, organisation charts, starters and leavers reports.Run reports on absence and sickness levels and pass information to Advisor/Manager.Processing the monthly payroll.To help administer the annual salary reviews.Monitor and maintain the timely and accurate completion of appraisal forms and recording grades appropriately.To develop a good understanding of HR processes and procedures.Suggest ideas for the improvement of HR services and processes.Assist with the production of job descriptions.Start to build and maintain good relationships with agencies/headhunters and update them with the vacancy requirements.To organise and attend induction meetings for new secretarial joiners.To administer the secondment programme for fee earners within your practice areas.To keep HR Managers fully informed of the current status of work, of any problems encountered and how these problems can be resolved. Essential Skills: Experience of generalist HR administration.Experience of database systems.Excellent report writing skills.Excellent IT skills.Ability to adapt and work pro-actively as part of a well-respected team.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
