LOOK. Exciting opportunity! To assist in the provision of a robust, efficient and effective recruitment, HR and payroll service in accordance with employment legislation and company policy. To provide comprehensive, high quality administrative support by undertaking a wide range of administrative tasks and efficiently working with office systems and processes.i)To maintain and develop the recruitment process ii)To collate and process the relevant paperwork for vacancies and ensure that the job requisition authorisation is in place prior to the post being advertisediii)To actively manage and monitor receipt of all pre-employment checks e.g. DBS, health clearance, references, work permits, right to workiv)To issue terms and conditions to new starters and change of contract letters to staff as they occurv)To effectively and efficiently process and input payroll changesvi)To assist the managers in the implementation of the annual appraisal system, objective setting and personal development planningvii)To ensure all systems are managed accurately and databases are kept up-to-dateviii)To act as point of contact for managers and staff providing timely advice and guidance where requiredix)To contribute to the development of appropriate HR policies and procedures. Contribute to reviewing HR policies, procedures and working practicesx)To provide, with appropriate support, effective advice and support to managers in the management of sickness absence and provide support to managers by attending non-complex sickness interviews as necessaryxi)To ensure that files and records are maintained, stored and retrieved appropriately including the maintenance of computerised information systemsxii)To act as a contingency to the Payroll Department, processing payroll in periods of sickness absence and leavexiii)To support with the implementation of ad-hoc projects as requiredxiv)To prepare ad hoc reports as requiredCOMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIPSManagers in all areas of the businessEmployees in all areas of the businessHR colleaguesFinance TeamOccasionally will be required to travel to external meetings on occasions.
