We are currently looking to recruit a HR Assistant to support us part time on a 6 month fixed term contract. You will provide administrative support to the business at Queens Hospital, Romford; working directly with the Regional HR and site Operations Teams. You will support managers with admin tasks where appropriate and be involved with site projects and initiatives. If you have strong administration skills with the ability to organise, plan and prioritise workload - this is a fantastic opportunity for you. Package description 6 month fixed term contract Part time - 24 hours per week (ideally across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) Main responsibilities Monitor absence levels at site and prompt the Operations team when action is requiredEnsure effective administration processes are in place for recruitment, new starters, leavers, casuals, absence and maternityProvide advice to managers on HR issues, including providing the managers with appropriate template letters for them to populate and sendMonitor sickness at the sites on a weekly basis including bringing to the managers attention names of individuals who have triggered the formal absence management process and what the next steps areMaintain and update the Visa spread sheet for the sites, advising managers when a Visa is about to expiry and ensuring the necessary letters are sent to the individual from the managerPrepare the monthly reports when requiredRun reports from multiple systems when requiredAssist the Regional HR Team with ad hoc projects as required along with filing and maintaining personnel files.
