This is an exciting 12 Month FTC opportunity for a large BPO provider continuing successful growth and development of their Blue Chip Client base. The broad responsibility within the role is to investigate the value, cost, liability and risk associated with the transfer of staff in contracts and acquisitions and to develop and propose innovative and effective HR solutions.

You will create confidence with the customer in the companies ability to realise successful transfer of staff to the business. Additionally you will negotiate the transfer of staff with the customer, and to manage the industrial relations and employee expectations. Within this you will assess the employees, the employment conditions, and the associated liabilities and risks

Internally you will work with Service Line HR Business Partners & HR Advisors in transitioning staff into the company providing appropriate coaching, training, guidance and support. Your accountabilities will be to:

Assess the nature and scope of the transaction and evaluate TUPE consequences in relation to an asset purchase or a share purchase, and advise management accordingly.
Provide input and deliver the HR project plan for transition and if required transformation.
Deliver client facing presentations to in scope employees and trade unions where necessary.
Assess the capabilities of the employees within the scope and their implications for the business case.
Own the HR Bid support process from end to end in specific bids.
Check the required resourcing for future service delivery and establish the match and discrepancies with the employees within the scope
Work closely with the legal team in defining TUPE contractual requirements, liabilities and indemnities on exit and entry
Assess all liabilities and risks related to transfer of the employees within the scope (g. potential redundancies, pension liabilities, disability, outstanding entitlements, legal proceedings, health & safety requirements, etc.)
Propose and negotiate terms and conditions for transfer of staff (g. transfer of employment benefits, reservations for liabilities and risks, pension assets, outstanding entitlements, etc.)
Design and execution of HR transition arrangements


You must have extensive relevant HR experience within HR Bid Support & TUPE as well as having a strong customer focus with commercial awareness. You will have tenacity, drive and energy to achieve corporate business goals, excellent people skills with demonstrable ability to question, listen and challenge appropriately.
