*Assist with HR practice guidance which assists new international business start-ups, accounting for each stage of the process.
*In every jurisdiction work in partnership with international colleagues and local consultants to:
oCreate operational minimum standards and processes for HR appropriate to the jurisdiction
oDevelop strategic minimum standards for start up businesses internationally
oCreate and maintain policies and procedures appropriate to each jurisdiction
oDevise HR toolkits appropriate for each jurisdiction regarding the employee life cycle and HR processes
oBuild a precedent library of standard letters and checklists regarding all operational HR processes for each jurisdiction
oEnsure that international employees are performance managed through company processes and that any staff issues are communicated to the company Partnering People Team
oDevelop employee handbooks for each jurisdiction
oEnsure and professional registrations are up to date and understood and complied with (including any dual registration requirements involving any staff working in more than one jurisdiction)
oWork with local agents and payroll companies to set up and coordinate employee benefits
oAssist with HR practice guidance which assists new international business start-ups, accounting for each stage of the process, relevant timescales and key contacts
*Assist in international staff vacancy approval processes in line with budgets

Ideal candidates will have the following

*CIPD qualified to a minimum of Graduate level (MCIPD desirable)
*Education to degree standard or equivalent, preferably with a HR or business related field
*Significant experience of working in a senior HR role or a minimum of three years post-qualification experience
*Experience of working in a complex and challenging environment working in a matrix structure with various reporting lines
*Experience of supporting HR needs in an international environment
*Experience of working with the ex-pat community, including coordinating visa applications
