Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Business Partner/Change Manager to join one of our well-known clients on a 12 month contract. The role will report to the Head of Operational HR and will involve spending 50% of the time looking after a particular business area and carrying out generalist HR duties and 50% helping with a large-scale integration project involving change management, alignment and integration. Day to day duties will include: Meeting with the Business Unit Directors to identify risks and opportunities and implement action plans Align the HR strategy with the different BU objectives Review People Management Processes to achieve the HR strategy Jointly own outcomes for all People Manager decisions providing timely advice and support Ensure all people changes are reflected through fully supported business cases Recruit and select suitable candidates for the Business Unit and ensure they are appointed within budget and agreed timescales Work with the Learning and Development Manager to identify capability gaps and solutions for addressing these Agree people metrics and KPIs with Business Unit Directors and ensure these are achieved through measures of success Upskill Managers in all people processes including absence management, disciplinary and grievance, Performance Evaluation and through joint ownership undertake action to address the underlying issues Work with client group in the field to understand priorities and key milestones Experience and skills needed CIPD qualified, including up to date knowledge of current and new employment law Experience as an HR Manager/Business Partner Extensive experience in change management and integration IT literate operating Microsoft Office Commercially minded, pragmatic and hands on Good time management and organisational skills Effective communication skills both written and oral This role is offered for 12 months with the chance to be extended and is to start asap.
