Role title -HR Business Partner
Location - Essex
Contract type - Permanent
Salary - Up to £65k depending on experience
Our client is key player in the Finance sector and is looking for an HR Business Partner with strong HR Generalist and commercial experience to help during a global business transformation programme. There are many operational elements to this role so you will need to roll your sleeves up. There is also some very interesting project work to get involved in and a fantastic opportunity to help shape the people strategy for your client group.
This position is responsible for driving proactive positive employee relations across the business through knowledge of employment law, external business circumstances, industry and HR best practices. The role consults with managers on complex HR issues that impact individual, teams and specific sites and is responsible for ensuring human capital activities are aligned with overall corporate and business unit priorities. The HR Business Partner will play a key role in assisting the business to lead change initiatives that positively impact on business results.
High level communication and influencing skills are required as this role is responsible for coaching, developing and advising managers in relation to strategic change initiatives and people management/development initiatives including but not limited to on-boarding, reward, performance, succession planning and talent assessment. This role will also need to collaborate on key initiatives with HR colleagues across the globe.
To be successful in this role candidates will need to be able to demonstrate proven leadership skills and project and change management skills gained within a multi-site/matrix organisation. A strong working knowledge of UK employment law is required along with the aptitude to manage conflicting priorities in a constantly changing environment.
Ideally, you will have experience gained in a client facing role within large financial services organisation. Your client group will be based across two UK sites so a small amount of travel will be required. This is a unique opportunity to join a major global company without having to commute into London.
