HR Business Partner Manager, Hove, East Sussex.

My reputable and FTSE 100 client is currently recruiting for an HR Business Partner Manager for a 6 month contract to work in partnership with designated line managers, providing professional strategy and consultation in a commercial Human Resources function. The role will support the business management team in delivering pragmatic HR solutions and managing the implementation of people related plans to improve the Business functions performance.

Key Accountabilities

A key generalist HR Business Partner Manager with 7 direct reports, which supports the HR Director in delivery of professional HR support to Business Units or the Senior Leadership Team. Key focus areas will include:

  • Reward ensuring the strategy is executed in order to meet the business priorities and managing the bonus/salary review process
  • Learning and Development ensuring the L&D plans for the business are clearly articulated and defined with action plans to support deliverables
  • Diversity and Inclusion actively promote diversity and inclusion through line management as fundamental elements of the company's culture
  • Organisational Design partner with management to identify business improvement opportunities and identify requires change management principles to support and deliver change effectively
  • Resourcing and Workforce Planning develop and maintain the function workforce plans, including the future skill needs, talent and headcount requirements, based on the company's overall resourcing strategy and needs
  • Talent and Succession Planning ensure that processes are in place to track and deliver succession plans for key roles and that action is taken to mitigate identified succession risks and promote a culture of development and mobility within the business
  • Performance Management drive the company's high performing people agenda through line management to maintain a high performance culture which recognises achievement and constructively challenges poor performance
  • HR Operational Delivery work in partnership with HR Shared Services to ensure that HR transactional, process support and expert advice is effectively delivered into the business, and taking action top resolve any arising issues from operational and transactional HR delivery

The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified, be commercially minded and be able to deliver quality HR Business Partnering support, including extensive knowledge of employment law and best practice. They would also be able to demonstrate a deep understanding in the areas listed above as well as operating as a member of a wider HR function.
