Description

Our client is a dynamic, entrepreneurial energy business with ambitious plans for the future. Although this role is London based, there will be some travel to North Africa. Your role will be to provide strategic HR support to the business units by evaluating, developing and implementing fit for purpose HR solutions to meet business needs. Ensure operational HR matters to the populations are delivered in a professional and efficient way with support from in-country HR teams where they exist. Support the businesses in their growth agenda. Partner with the leadership teams to develop solutions which meet business needs. These should be credible and often need to be creative. Operate sensitively across numerous cultural boundaries. Balance the requirements of structure and process with the culture of entrepreneurial action taking. Collaborate with the HR Leadership Team, HR Business Partners and other HR teams to ensure global consistency. Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement of existing practice, process and policy. Build strong partnerships with Senior Leadership and Management teams to understand key activities to assist with HR planning and preempt HR opportunities and risks. Coaching managers on various personnel matters. Ensure that change is appropriately managed. With support of an HR Advisor, manage the operational HR needs of the London based populations. Develop, implement and maintain local HR policies and contribute to the development and implementation of Group HR Policies. Build appropriate external relationships with key stakeholders and service providers. Support and input into Group HR Projects where needed. Responsible for managing, mentoring, coaching and developing other members of the HR team. Provide guidance to the functions on labour legislation and compliance matters. Ensure accurate and relevant Management Information reporting for all reporting requirements
