Description

Our client is a dynamic and entrepreneurial energy business with ambitious plans for the future. Your role will be to provide strategic HR support to 6 technical functions and the Information Systems function by evaluating, developing and implementing fit for purpose HR solutions to meet business needs Support the Functions in the development of their role. I.e. learning to work as a Global Function in a structure that is biased towards Business Units. Partner with the leadership teams to develop solutions which meet business needs. These should be credible and often need to be creative. Balance the requirements of structure and process with the culture of entrepreneurial action taking. Collaborate with the HR Leadership Team, HR Business Partners and other HR teams to ensure global consistency. Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement of existing practice, process and policy. Build strong partnerships with Senior Leadership and Management teams to understand key activities to assist with HR planning and preempt HR opportunities and risks. Coaching managers on various personnel matters. Ensure that change is appropriately managed. With support of an HR Advisor, manage the operational HR needs of the London based Functional populations. Develop, implement and maintain local HR policies and contribute to the development and implementation of Group HR Policies. Build appropriate external relationships with key stakeholders and service providers. Support and input into Group HR Projects where needed. Responsible for managing, mentoring, coaching and developing other members of the HR team. Provide guidance to the functions on labour legislation and compliance matters.
