Now under the leadership of a newly appointed Chief Executive, the business continues to evolve and has a great opportunity for a HR Director to play a pivotal role in their growth plans. Reporting into the Chief Executive and sitting on the Board, the HR Director will guide and advise the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring the business has the HR Support required to scale for growth. Leading and developing the HR & L&D team, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of an effective, comprehensive and professional HR service. Whilst the role is at Board level and will utilise your strategic HR experience, initial priorities will be to understand the culture of the business and assess what is required from HR, taking time to deliver brilliant basic process and develop a longer-term people strategy. As HR Director, you will be responsible for the delivery of all generalist HR and L&D services. You will work closely with key internal stakeholders, including the Chief Executive, Finance and Divisional Directors to provide the HR Service they need to meet business objectives. There will be plenty of opportunity to add value in key people areas such as development, appraisal, succession planning and reward and benefits alongside delivering a reliable, effective operational HR service. You will need to be a detail focused HR Director with a proven track record of owning the HR agenda and developing a HR team. The ability to work strategically, whilst taking a 'hands on' approach to the basics is key, to make sure that all people initiatives are suitable for the business and deliver value in the right way.
