Human Resources Employee Relations Advisor
£22,067 - £23,553 per annum
Fixed term vacancy for up to 1 year
37 hours per week
Swindon College is seeking to recruit a Human Resources Employee Relations Advisor to join our team and provide a generalist Human Resources service to the College. Duties include providing day to day guidance and advice to the Human Resources team, Managers and College staff and the ability to communicate and interpret policies and procedures effectively.
In your role you will advise College Managers on all aspects of employee relations including sickness management, absenteeism, discipline, grievance and capability as well as providing appropriate support at meetings, interviews and hearings. You will produce reports from internal data as required on specific areas of employment and assist in the development and implementation of Human Resource policies across the College.
The successful candidate should have previous experience in this role or a similar role with a strong understanding of IT packages and database systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also essential.
Holding Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in Maths and English will be an essential requirement for this role (or the commitment to gaining within 12 months). CIPD qualified at a minimum of CPP level is essential as well as a strong understanding and up to date knowledge of employment law.
