One of our FMCG clients is looking for a HR Manager to join their team on an interim basis. The role will involve the full generalist remit on a multi site basis but based out of Peterborough. managing both long term and short time assignments, repatriations, assignment extensions and localisations across all business units in conjunction with the respective external and internal service providers. Responsibilities will include: Provide HR advice and support to two major Manufacturing Site Management Teams, which creates business value and ensures compliance and legal requirements are maintained. To contribute to the delivery of business strategy through the efficient and effective implementation of HR plans. To support organisational & people development activities aligned to overall business strategy through facilitation and implementation of specific HR projects Drive capability by developing employee attraction and supporting effective recruitment, development and retention of talent within the businesses Interpret and manage total reward market intelligence to provide effective benchmarking & maximise market position in terms of recruiting & retaining talent. The ideal candidate will have: A proven track record of leading and influencing a Site or Business Unit Management team, enabling them to deliver successful people interventions which improve business performance. Experience of working within a FMCG environment, preferably food manufacturing. Experience of leading and delivering change within a predominantly blue collar, long serving environment Strong, resilient and self-sufficient team player well used to working within a fast moving, stand alone business with minimum Central Office influence Demonstrates the ability to prioritise issues and the potential conflicts of working across two sites supporting two Management teams This role is for a period of 12 months and is to start on Monday 30th January 2012.
