HR Manager Our client is the UK's leading debt charity. They're never judgmental and they understand that addressing financial problems can be a daunting process. Position: HR Manager Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Job Type: Permanent Hours: 35 hours per week Salary: 40k - 42k per annum depending on experience Benefits: 24 days' holiday which rises with each full year of service to 29 days, travel allowance, contributory pension scheme, travel allowance, season ticket loans and much more Closing Date: 30th November 2016 About the role: The role of the HR Manager will be to support all colleagues throughout the charity by providing an effective, efficient and professional Human Resources service. You'll also be responsible for leading, motivating and developing an established team of HR professionals. Within the role you'll offer advice and support to the senior management team to ensure procedures and practices are compliant and up to date with legislation, as well as guide managers to mitigate risks to the charity through employee relation cases. You'll also take responsibility for dealing with particularly difficult or sensitive HR issues. This is an exciting time to join the charity as they are currently going through transformation and you'll be actively involved in projects such as enhancing performance management and reviewing the total reward package. Other duties you'll be responsible for will include the management of the reward and recognition scheme which includes annual pay reviews, bonuses and their wellbeing programme. You will have responsibility for HR budgets and take responsibility for negotiation of contracts with solicitors and other benefit providers. About you: You'll be CIPD qualified, with previous operational / project work experience along with a sound knowledge of employment law. Substantial experience of managing and leading a HR function within a larger organisation is essential. You'll require strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships and trust with key internal stakeholders. The ability to communicate concisely and clearly and to tailor communications on complex issues is essential. Experience of managing a HR function within a contact centre would be highly desirable.
