We are currently recruiting for a HR Manager to join a growing Telecoms & Engineering company. This is a permanent role to be based in Waterlooville and you will provide HR support to circa 50-60 employees the and manage a team of 2 HR staff. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of HR services for the Company in support of its business activities. Working as a true partner to the business in pursuit of adding value.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:-

* Management and development of the HR team members which include two HR Administrators, conducting performance reviews, providing mentoring and support, ensuring health and safety of employees
* To maintain the HR policy, employment terms and conditions and HR services to meet the Company's business strategy and plans
* Promotion of Company image as a leading employer in support of the Company vision and objectives
* Management of HR continuous improvement
* Advise and support all levels of management in respect of employment related matters
* Employee relations - individual employee welfare and support
* Construct and maintain HR policies and practises that are appropriate to Company strategy and developing business
* Ensure HR legal compliance with UK employment practise and alignment to defined corporate values
* Contribute to and maintain employment terms and conditions and employee relations that demonstrate the Company as a leading employer
* End to end recruitment process for the site
* Sickness management for the site
* Facilities management (Washroom services, Vending machines, vehicles, Overalls, refuse collections)
* Advise and provide practical support with a listening ear when required, in bereavement, domestic, health and life events

You will require the following skills and experience:-

* Experience of working in a HR Manager role within a small-mid size engineering or manufacturing organisation
* CIPD qualified
* Working knowledge of Employment Law
* Knowledge of HR and training best practice and business fit
* Excellent attention to detail
* High standard of written English
* Strong PC Skills (Intermediate Excel and Word)
* Professional approach
* Ability to influence others to work to deadlines and policies
* Able to manage key relationships at all levels of the organisation
* Be approachable, calm and assertive when required
