HR Manager - c35-37,000 + car & benefits A successful and growing manufacturing / engineering business is looking to recruit a HR Manager responsible for 2 newly acquired sites. You will be the standalone HR Manager for these sites working with staff at all levels to support them with their HR issues. In addition you will be working in partnership with a remotely based HR Director to design improvements to HR processes and implement and embed them in the new sites. Duties will include: Working as a key business partner to operational managers and supporting them with a range day to day HR/ER issues.Driving a more proactive approach to solving people issues across the 2 sites and engaging with key managers to improve their capacity to handle HR / people issuesIdentifying where improvements can be made to site HR processes and policies and driving the implementation of those improvements.Supporting Group initiatives to harmonise shift patterns, job roles, salaries and culture This is an excellent opportunity for a strong and experienced HR generalist looking for the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified (level 5 or more) and have wide ranging experience of providing HR support and advice in fast paced commercial environment. You must also be able to roll sleeves up and get stuck in with HR admin when required so good organisation skills are essential. For example you should be able to produce presentations and manipulate HR data. You must be prepared to spend time travelling across 2 sites (Shropshire & Kent). You can be based from either and can expect to spend 1-2 days a week at the other. This is likely to decrease as your relationship with the operational stakeholders develops.
