For more information see: About the role: You will support the Senior Leadership in the successful delivery of an effective HR function taking a lead on the delivery and implementation of equality and inclusion (E&I) activities and acting as the point of contact for requests from stakeholders. You will identify E&I training and development needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training to make improvements, organise the E&I Policy Group meetings and provide advice on reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010. You will oversee the collection and collation of all requests for information about BBSRC employees, ensuring accuracy of data and deadlines are met. You will also provide management information to support strategic decisions and make recommendations for policy or procedural changes based on analysis of data and research. You will ensure compliance with relevant legislation, review and update the MI calendar for data/information flows, represent BBSRC at cross Council MI meetings and implement and support HR good practice across BBSRC Swindon Office. You will also be required to provide support with general HR activities such as recruitment. About you: You will be CIPD qualified with an excellent understanding of equality and diversity legislation and current practice. You will have experience of delivering solutions to address inequality, promote diversity and inclusion and be able to interpret and analyse data and information to make appropriate recommendations. You have experience of developing and implementing HR policy and procedures; working knowledge of key employment issues and good HR practice. You have excellent interpersonal and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure. A good problem solver and effective team player, you have the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels. You will be required to travel to other sites on occasion.
