Description
London-based risk management consultancy with offices in the UK, Middle East and the US are looking to appoint an HR Manager to report into the CEO supporting the UK operations of c80 employees for a global business of c1500 employees.
The role will have the support of an HR administrator and will be responsible for:-
Leading on employee relations issues such as absence, disciplinaries, grievances and performance management
Managing the recruiting process including agreeing terms and conditions and engaging with recruitment agencies and executive search firms and ensure clear job descriptions are prepared
Ensure the appraisal process is managed effectively
Advise on and update and implement HR policies and procedures as necessariy
Ensure in consultation with the Legal Department that contracts of employment are legally compliant
Monitor the induction process across the business and ensure bespoke programmes comply with the corporate programme
Advise on HR best practice and its effective implementation in the workplace
Handle issues relating to reward and compensation
Oversee and facilitate the companys mentoring scheme
Candidate Profile:
An accomplished HR Manager with hands-on operational HR experience applicable to small-medium sized business operation
Background within a consultancy, professional services, risk management or defence would be preferable
CIPD qualified and educated to degree level
