As a result of growth, this exciting multi-sited, award winning business is looking to recruit a newly created role of Business Manager. The Business Manager will report into the Chief Executive and oversee two Head Office functions - HR/Recruitment and Marketing, encompassing a team of fourteen. The overview of the role is to drive forward efficiencies and streamline processes across the functions, driving forward projects both at corporate level and operational level in the circa 40 sites UK wide. One of the key responsibilities will include managing the Recruitment team and establishing coherent processes which bring together the seamless process of the recruitment of candidates including compliance, through on-boarding to HR. The successful candidate will have qualifications in one of the business disciplines ie CIPD Qualified or CIM Qualified, and training and experience in People management and team development. Project management experience will be key - ideally a formal qualification in this ie Prince 2 trained. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES Human Resource Management Oversee the development and operational implementation of the Human Resources strategy set by senior management.Ensure all HR policies and procedures are in line with business growth and adhered to by the business, reviewing where necessaryEnsuring the staff handbook is up to date with latest employment law legislation for each site to comply with.Ensure the HR function supports the Operational teams across the business, guiding Regional Managers in best practice HR activityEnsure that the recruitment, HR management, training, development and appraisal of staff is undertaken effectively Marketing Lead the marketing team to deliver marketing strategy.Work with the sales team to define and execute sales and marketing plans.Set marketing budget and annual marketing plans. Business Management Project scoping, resource allocation and project deliveryEnsure that routine day-to-day work is managed efficiently and that effective office systems are established, maintained and regularly reviewedEnsuring the effective flow of work between the component parts of the business.Work closely with the Chief Executive to monitor performance against business objectives and targets Finance Oversee budgetary management and the production of management accounts and financial reports Should you be interested in discussing this vacancy please contact Annabel Green via LinkedIn or register your details on .
