You will support two directorates and will support the people services partner in ensuring an efficient, effective and solutions focused service. The business partner model is key to our Clients ability to deliver organisational priorities whilst providing professional advice and consultancy to managers on a range of issues across the entire employee life cycle. The people services officer sits within our people services team who are responsible for developing initiatives and tools to support the achievement of the organisations strategic objectives. A key requirement of the team is to ensure that we recruit and develop the people necessary to provide the organisational agility and skills to meet the transformation change and challenges we face now and in the future. The people services team sits within strategy and corporate services who lead strategic planning in support of research, learning and teaching, further education and skills and our international priorities. We also analyse data and provides management information to inform our business planning, decision making, risk management and reporting. About you To be considered for this role you will have: CIPD qualified graduate with Associate Member statusTrack record of substantial success in a similar role at a similar level, with personal responsibility for delivering high quality services on time, accurately and within budget to satisfy customersExperience of providing support to employees and management on questions related to payroll transactions and related information upon requestPossess a sound knowledge of recruitment practices and strategies, with an ability to produce innovative and effective recruitment solutions using thorough knowledge of employment law and best practice in relation to recruitmentExperience of coordinating and delivering projects in a timely mannerApproaches targets with a "can do" attitude, delivering tasks to a successful conclusionEffective organisational skills, including a demonstrable track record of successfully prioritising own workload to deliver competing objectives on time, to budget and to specificationWell developed and practised interpersonal and communication skills (written, spoken, presentation) with the ability and experience to engaging effectively with staff at all levels The Pro-Recruitment Groups consists of 3 distinct brands: Pro-Tax, Pro-Legal and Pro-Finance:
