We are currently recruiting for a HUMAN RESOURCES OPERATIONS PARTNER.
Reporting to a senior HR Manager, you will provide comprehensive and pragmatic operations HR support to Senior Management within a business unit, in line with Company procedures and legal requirements. You will have extensive experience in managing complex ER issues, excellent interpersonal skills and be willing to undertake a varied role. This position will require regular travel within the UK.
What you’ll do…
•Build strong professional relationships with Management teams and participate in Senior Management Team meetings
•Provide commercially focused advice and support to Managers on various acquisitions and mergers
•Manage complex ER casework across the organisation in line with Company procedures including disciplinary, grievance and sickness absence issues
•Manage settlement agreements in liaison with the Managers and Company Solicitors
•Lead on policy & procedure updates for the organisation, including championing best practise and communicating employment law updates
•Seek commercial resolutions to Employment Tribunals and to manage relationships with solicitors and ACAS
•Support line managers with formal processes such as coordinating hearings, and drafting related correspondence
What we’re looking for…
Knowledge and experience…
•Generalist HR experience, preferably gained within commercial environment
•CIPD qualified and/or equivalent experience/or currently working towards qualification
•Exceptionally strong generalist HR background and regular experience of complex HR issues including redundancies, dismissals, change management
•Experience of TUPE transfers and acquisitions
•Demonstrate a strong working and up to date knowledge of employment law and HR best practise approaches
•Commercially aware with good emotional intelligence
•Experience of employment tribunal claims and settlement agreements
•Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
•Proactive and solutions focused
•Ability to influence key decision makers and to challenge when necessary
•Resilient and ability to 'stand your own ground’
•Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
•Strong written and verbal communication style and ability to flex style to meet needs of different business units
•Flexible, adaptable and ability to travel on a regular basis
Working hours will be based on a 37.5 per week, however applicants must be aware that the role will require a high level of flexibility and additional hours may be required dependant on workload.
