HR Training and Development Manager / OfficerLocation: Macclesfield, CheshireSalary: Competitive, depending on experienceContract: Full Time or part time, permanent.RoBAT is a high tech company designing and manufacturing high value Robotic Machines. Established for over 15 years, we are a world leader in our industry supplying some of the largest companies in the world.We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Training and Development specialist.The ideal candidate will be a "people person" someone who has an interest in the team around them, in motivating and cultivating a team of professionals and getting the best from each of them. This position will require an organised yet innovative approach to training and development.Key Responsibilities Ability to obtain the full potential from all staffThe ability to quickly access all staff needs/wants and build imaginative incentives and training programmesWork with existing management to ensure the full potential for all staff is utilised.To set up, implement and review appropriate systems and methods for Training Needs AnalysisTo take ownership of staff training and keep accurate and up to date records.To research and obtain, where possible, any awards/grants to provide funding for training and developmentImplementing, advising on and monitoring appraisal schemes.To assist management in creating innovative solutions to ensure all staff are incentivised to the company goalsAll usual day-to-day operations of an HR Department The ideal candidate will Have previous experience within a similar role for an SME sized organisationBe approachable with the ability to form good relationships with staff at all levels within an organisation.Have the knowledge and ability to take "ownership" of the HR FunctionPossess a high level of IT competencyBe of a "Can do" attitude with a "hands-on" approach! A background in Psychology would be looked on favourably.
