The Background:
Working as a key member of the global project team, you will support the Global Project Director and the team in reaching the project objectives and delivering all milestones to deadlines. This role is responsible for all aspects of HR transition and people change management.


The Role:

The role of HR Transition Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Interact closely as HR Business Partner with the Global Project Director working with him and his first line direct reports to effect transformation in the current organisation

Develop a deep understanding for operational excellence and efficiency in the context of this project, in order to manage change and implement an HR Agenda suited to drive organisational effectiveness, high performance, leadership capability, and employee engagement

Build a deep knowledge of the local businesses and share this with the Global Project Director extracting essential information to help with the shaping of the new organisation globally

Advise, facilitate, coordinate and ensure compliance in key HR service requirements:
- Organisation Effectiveness
- Resourcing & Talent Management
- Reward and recognition
- Policy & Employee Relations
- Employee Engagement

Monitor the effectiveness of local HR delivery, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing operational solutions in line with project deadlines and current best practice

Be a team player and collaborate closely with colleagues in the Sector HR team

Manage and follow-up on integration activities


The Person:

HR professional relevant experience in a specialist HR role or HR generalist role with strong focus on change implementation in a fast-paced multinational company

Experience in international HR should cover exposure to HR practices and the legal and market environment in several countries (ideally beyond Europe), including experience of TUPE

The candidate should have had experience in managing HR aspects of M&A activity or transition in a global context with a certain degree of autonomy.

The successful candidate holds a university degree, ideally in Law/Labour Relations and/or Business Administration.

Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral), preferably at native speaker level. Knowledge of Spanish is a definite plus, any other relevant languages an additional asset, as is experience through having studied/worked abroad.

To be successful in this position, a candidate must be able to demonstrate outstanding analytical, planning, organisational, and project management skills, with the ability to deliver operationally on the details within the context of a global vision.

The candidate should be able to quickly grasp complex legal issues, understand the detail and present solutions to internal customers.

The professional should be quick thinking, results-orientated, and pro-active, with drive and energy to act in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should be effective communicators at all levels of an international organisation and with external stakeholders, acting with (intercultural) empathy, honesty and transparency.

A very good knowledge of the general business IT applications (MS Office), and an affinity towards application of technology in an HR environment, would also be required.
